Your GDPR Rights

Your privacy is important to us. We process personal information responsibly and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).   • Correction (Art. 16) – Ask us to update or correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Erasure (Art. 17) – Request deletion of your personal data where there is no legal obligation requiring us to keep it.
  • Restriction (Art. 18) – Ask us to temporarily limit how your information is processed in specific circumstances.
  • Data portability (Art. 20) – Receive your data in a commonly used electronic format that can be transferred to another service provider.
  • Objection (Art. 21) – Object to processing based on legitimate interests, including direct marketing.
  • Withdraw consent (Art. 7) – Withdraw your consent at any time where consent is the legal basis for processing.

2. Contacting Us About Your Data

If you would like to exercise any of your GDPR rights, please email support@asicworldstore.com with the subject "GDPR Request".

To help us identify your records, please include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your account or order
  • An order reference, if applicable
  • A short explanation of your request

Most requests are completed within 30 days. Where permitted by law, additional time may be required for more complex requests. If this happens, we will keep you informed throughout the process.

For security reasons, we may ask you to verify your identity before releasing or modifying personal information.

3. Why We Process Personal Information

  • Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) – Processing orders, delivering products, managing accounts, and providing customer service.
  • Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) – Meeting accounting, taxation, and other legal requirements.
  • Legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) – Protecting our website, preventing fraud, and improving our products and services.
  • Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) – Sending newsletters or enabling optional features where your consent is required.

4. International Data Processing

Where possible, personal data is processed within the European Union or European Economic Area. If information is transferred internationally, we use appropriate legal safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other approved transfer mechanisms, to protect your personal data.

5. Complaints and Supervisory Authorities

If you believe your personal data has not been handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority responsible in your country.

If our business operates in Germany, the competent authority is the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI). We nevertheless welcome the opportunity to resolve any concerns directly before they are escalated.
